Pillar Centre for Conflict Resolution, International Arbitration and Scientific Research received Dr. Osman Babuji, Head of Foreign Relations in the Nigerian Parliament and former Adviser to the Nigerian President, where he met Dr. Ali Nazli, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Pillar Centre and members of the Centre.
A number of issues related to Nigeria were addressed and discussed, especially that the coming period will witness general elections. The conferees assured the necessity of paving the way for the success of the electoral process and emphasizing the dissemination of a culture of peace, coexistence and understanding among the components of the Nigerian people, especially as they enjoy intellectual, cultural, religious and geographical diversity, where Nigeria’s population exceeds 220 million.
