The Aman Center Association for Psychological Counseling Implements a Psychological Discharge Project in Partnership with Pillar Centre
Within the efforts of Pillar Centre for Conflict Resolution and Scientific Research to contribute to providing solutions to reduce crises among civilians, and within the partnership between the Pillar Centre and the Aman Center for Psychological Counseling, a project was implemented for psychological support and discharge for school students in the Tel Rumeida area in the center of Hebron, in Palestine.
The project targeted about 50 young men and women of secondary school students who suffer from psychological pressure due to passing through checkpoints daily, which causes them to panic, lack of focus and poor educational achievement, especially during the exam period, in this area.
As explained by Dr. Maryam Abu Turki, Executive Director of the Aman Center Association, that this program is to relieve the pressure and suffering experienced by young men and women, which is about psychological discharge sessions. She added that this program is an extension of the targeted activities in support of these marginalized categories in light of the threat and pressure they are experiencing.
