Pillar Centre for Conflict Resolution Calls for Aabolition Blockade on the Gaza Strip

London- Istanbul

Pillar Centre for Conflict Resolution and International Arbitration called for abolition blockade on the Gaza Strip and neutralizing civilians from any conflicts.

Pillar Centre, based in London and Istanbul, expressed their sincerest condolences and solidarity with the families of the civilian victims who died in the massive fire that killed about 25 people in Gaza, which has been under a tight siege for nearly 25 years.

It is very clear that the lack of capabilities available in the Gaza Strip regarding the specialized authorities in extinguishing fires are very weak due to the restrictions imposed on Gaza as well as the weak infrastructure for such authorities.

Therefore, Pillar Centre calls upon international institutions and the international community to rapid act in order to repeal the siege imposed on Gaza and prevent any restrictions on its civilian population. It also calls for the development of interim and strategic plans to reduce any future disasters that may occur, in the Gaza Strip.

In addition to urgent and rapid work to introduce everything related to supplies, tools and equipment for the benefit of municipalities and the specialized civil authorities to face any natural or unnatural disasters to which the residents of Gaza may be exposed.
